Spades

Spades Online is played by four people, split into two teams of two. Each person starts with 13 cards, and before the round begins, they bid on how many tricks they think will happen. Unless a Spade is played, the trump suit, which beats all others once it is broken, each person plays one card, and the winner is the highest-ranking card in the lead suit.

The first card a person turns over must always be a match. Once broken, they can play any card, even spades, if they don't have that suit. Your team's total bid should be met or beaten, and you don't want to overbid for no reason since that costs you points.

As an option, a player could bid nil, which means they can't use any tricks to get a bonus or a penalty. Scores are based on successful bids. Each trick bid is worth 10 points, and extra tricks are worth extra points.

When you overbid, you get bags, and getting 10 of them costs you 100 points. The game is not over until one team gets 500 points or falls below -200 points. The winner is the team with the highest score.
